After every use clean your jewellery with a soft cloth to remove the oil and grime that would have stuck to it from the skingrime it could have been exposed to throughout the day.
Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place in airtight zip lock plastic bags, or covered in a cloth enclosed in an airtight container when not in use. This will help slow down the tarnishing process.
To protect your silver jewelry from scratching, keep it separately from your other accessories as it gets scratched easily. store the silver jewellery in separate boxes or pouches to prevent scratching, chipping and entanglement.
Remove your jewellery when cleaning, swimming and taking a shower. Always remove your jewellery before using any product that contains bleach, ammonia, alcohol, fingernail polish removers that contain acetone, and turpentine. Some of these can cause a breakdown in the metal alloys leaving your jewellery beyond repair.
